A quartet of Australia’s most loved singers are joining forces to present the Great Australian Songbook Live tour.

The special concert event will take place this July and pay tribute to the iconic canon of homegrown music. The ambitious production will see the Great Australian Songbook Live brought to life on stage as Christine Anu, Kav Temperley, Shannon Noll, and Isabella Manfredi celebrate the songs that have shaped the country’s spirit, identity, and cultural heartbeat.

A world-class band will accompany the rotating four lead singers as they deliver new interpretations of Aussie classics. Musical Director Ben Fletcher leads the spectacular live band.

Kicking things off at Newcastle’s Civic Theatre on Thursday, 16 July, the tour continues at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Saturday, 18 July, Gold Coast’s The Star on Sunday, 19 July, Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Thursday, 23 July, Geelong’s Costa Hall on Saturday, 25 July, Melbourne’s Palais Theatre on Sunday, 26 July, the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Wednesday, 29 July, and concludes at Perth’s Crown Theatre on Friday, 31 July.

As the Great Australian Songbook Live travels across the country, audiences will buckle in for evenings of nostalgia and proud energy as they relive the greatest music moments to come from Aussie artists.

The tour will feature Anu, Temperley, Noll, and Manfredi singing songs that have become part of the fabric of our lives and the soundtracks to our memories. It’s all about timeless songs and emotional resonance: evenings of pure connection to Australian music.

Of course, the tour’s leading singers know plenty about connecting with audiences. Anu has experienced a three-decade career across music, film, theatre, and radio, with tracks such as the ARIA Award–winning My Island Home and platinum album Stylin’ Up contributing to Australia’s musical culture.

Temperley, best known as the frontman of Eskimo Joe, has seen the band take home eight ARIA Awards, 15 WAMI Awards, two APRA Awards and three International Songwriting Competition Awards. Plus, he’s previously joined a suite of artists to honour Fleetwood Mac with the tribute concert series, Yesterday’s Gone. It’s fair to say he knows hits and can harmonise.

Shannon Noll has a career spanning two decades across rock, pop, and country. He’s come a long way since his Australian Idol days, redefining his musical career and finding a new generation of fans with his music and larrikin personality.

Isabella Manfredi, lead singer of The Preatures, is known for her electrifying performance style. With numerous accolades and experience touring, she’s a fierce advocate for Australian artists while securing herself as one of the country’s shining rock singers.
