With under a month until Linkin Park return to Australia and New Zealand for the first time in 13 years, the beloved nu-metal act has announced the special guests joining them at their Adelaide and Auckland shows.

Already announced as the special guests for two shows each in Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney, Australian metal outfit Polaris have been confirmed as the openers for the Adelaide show—the last gig to be added to the itinerary. Meanwhile, in Auckland, New Zealand-based industrial alt-metal star VANA will open the show at Spark Arena.

Polaris currently have three studio albums under their belt, multiple ARIA nominations, sold-out headline tours across Australia, and a strong reputation as a live band worldwide.

Their first two albums, 2017’s The Mortal Coil and 2020’s The Death Of Me, debuted in the Top 10 of the ARIA Albums Chart, while their most recent LP, 2023’s Fatalism, debuted at #1 and was shortlisted for the Australian Music Prize.

VANA, originally from Anaheim, California, is a New Zealand-based artist who has made a name for herself with her unique alt-metal sound, drawing on modern electro-pop and trap elements. She’s entirely self-taught and started building her own fanbase before signing to Sumerian Records in 2025.

The pair will open for Linkin Park on their forthcoming From Zero tour of Australia and New Zealand, which takes place this March. Tickets are now available via the band’s website and Live Nation Australia/NZ.

During their upcoming tour, Linkin Park will perform new songs such as The Emptiness Machine and Heavy Is The Crown, alongside hits from their 20-year career.

They returned to the spotlight with the former single in September 2024, launching a new era with vocalist Emily Armstrong—sharing the stage with rapper, singer and multi-instrumentalist Mike Shinoda—and new drummer Colin Brittain.
