American alt-rock singer Maggie Lindemann is returning to Australia this May, locking in her second round of shows Down Under following her breakout 2023 debut.

On her last visit to Australia, which took place nearly exactly three years ago, Lindemann performed three intimate headline shows across the East Coast. Already, the venues—and demand—for her music have grown.

Touring in support of her second album, i feel everything, released via her own label Swixxzaudio last October, Lindemann’s latest album is the follow-up to her 2022 debut album, suckerpunch, and the HEADSPLIT EP in 2024. Ahead of its release, i feel everything was preceded by three singles: one of the ones, spine, and 2022 featuring Julia Wolf. The record also features pop-punk heavy hitters The Warning on the highlight, let me burn.

The tour begins at Perth’s Magnet House on Sunday, 10 May. The shows continue at Adelaide’s The Gov on Tuesday, 12 May, Sydney’s Roundhouse on Thursday, 14 May, Melbourne’s Forum Theatre on Friday, 15 May, and conclude at Brisbane’s The Tivoli on Sunday, 17 May. Adelaide, Sydney, and Brisbane shows are licensed to fans of all ages, while the Perth and Melbourne dates are listed as 18+.

Destroy All Lines and artist pre-sales commence on Tuesday, 17 February, at 11 am AEDT – register here for access. The general sale opens on Wednesday, 18 February, at 11 am local time via the Destroy All Lines website.

In a 2023 interview with The Music, Lindemann discussed her first-ever headline shows—including in Australia—and dealing with the pressure of being named the saviour of emo music, even leading a new resurgence in the genre.

“I don’t think I’m leading it. I would love to, though, that sounds really cool,” Lindemann said. “But I don’t necessarily think I’m leading it. I think there are a lot of really cool artists that are in this genre and bringing it back. But I love that idea that I’m leading it!”
