Inferi Premiere New Single & Music Video “Heaven Wept” From Upcoming New Album

Nashville death metal outfit Inferi are wrapping up the work week with the premiere of a music video for their new single, “Heaven Wept.” The track also serves as the title cut from the band’s upcoming album, which is scheduled to arrive April 10th via The Artisan Era.

The group collectively stated of the song:
“It brings us great pleasure to present the title track of our upcoming album, ‘Heaven Wept.’ This was actually the first song we finished for the album, and it’s crushing yet groovy atmosphere solidified the bedrock of theological horror we sought to build upon. Its also the first unreleased track we’ve ever played live. The video itself was filmed over three tours we did while writing and recording the album. It features some of our favorite venues from across the North American and Europe and encapsulates the vibe we strive to cultivate during our live shows.”
Inferi were recently added to Defeated Sanity’s spring North American tour, stepping in to replace Vulvodynia on the trek.
Organectomy will perform on all dates, while Excresence, Scasm and Horrific Vision are set to open select shows:
