Laufey has renewed her global publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music, the company announced. She released the deluxe edition of her Grammy-winning album, A Matter of Time, on April 10, featuring four new tracks. The 2025 album hit No. 4 on the Billboard 200. On April 21, she’ll release her debut children’s book, Mei Mei The Bunny, via Penguin Random House.

Brant has penned songs for artists including Alejandro Sanz, Becky G, Bruno Mars, Calibre 50, Camila Cabello, Danny Elfman, John Legend and Marc Anthony.
In 2024, Brant launched Cha Cha Cha Publishing to help develop emerging songwriters, teaming up with Warner Music Chappell to provide a global platform and creative resources for the artists.
“After knowing each other for many years, and with the deep respect and admiration I have always had for her, I am very happy that we are finally working together,” Gustavo Menédez, President of U.S. Latin and Latin America at Warner Chappell Music, said in a statement. “Claudia is an artist and songwriter who never stops reinventing herself, and that spirit of constant reinvention is what makes her as relevant today as ever.”
Brant’s catalog includes more than 4,000 songs. In 2009, she won the award for song of the year at the Latin Grammys, and in 2019 she earned a Grammy for Best Latin Pop Album for Sincera. She was also named to Billboard‘s Latin Pop Song of the Decade in 2009. Following her induction into the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2016, she holds the position of senior vp.

It’s authentic, it connects, and it sticks with you. We’re proud to welcome him to Warner Chappell and excited about what we’re going to build together,” WCM’s Laz Hernandez, svp of A&R, U.S. Latin & Latin America, said in a press release.
On joining WCM, Kris R. added, “I’ve always taken pride in writing from a real place, so this partnership with Warner Chappell means a lot to me. Sean Silverman signed a global publishing deal with Position Music and Born & Raised Publishing, the company announced. Silverman has worked with artists including Burna Boy, Jhayco, Hinds and The Maine. He is also a member of The Technicolors and Beach Weather.

PULSE Music Group signed a global publishing deal with London-based singer-songwriter fliss, whose Orchard-distributed track “Coming Around” has gotten her featured on multiple Spotify, Deezer and Amazon Music playlists, as well as BBC Radio 1, according to a press release. She has a debut project coming later this year. Fliss is managed by FAE co-founder Sarah Stennett, along with Jessica Nolan and Teyha Bingham Thaker.

Peermusic will publish Eyelar for future works and administer select back-catalog. In partnership with 2-Tone Entertainment, they will establish a writer development joint venture to sign emerging talent. The deal was signed in collaboration by Peermusic U.K. and Peermusic Germany.

Kobalt announced the signing of Irish alternative rock band, Bleech 9:3. The group includes guitarists and songwriters Barry “Baz” Quinlan and Sam Duffy, James Quinlan on bass and Luke O’Neill on drums.

The agreement will see Jutes continue to collaborate with Position Music on upcoming releases and creative projects.
