Rapper Offset was shot in Florida on Monday and is currently hospitalized and in stable condition, a spokesperson confirmed.
Offset, the Migos member and ex-husband of Cardi B, was shot in Hollywood, Florida, on Monday. He is currently in stable condition and is being treated at the hospital. The rapper was reportedly shot near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
“We can confirm Offset was shot and is currently at the hospital receiving medical care,” a representative for the musician confirmed. “He is stable and being closely monitored.”
“We are aware of an incident that occurred at a valet area after 7 PM Monday outside of Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood that resulted in non-life-threatening injuries to an individual who was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood,” said a rep for the Seminole Police Department.
“Seminole Police were on site immediately and the situation was contained quickly,” they added. “Two individuals have been detained by police. The investigation is ongoing. The site is secure and there is no threat to the public. Operations continue as normal.”
Offset, who was born Kiari Cephus, is best known as one-third of Migos, alongside Quavo and Takeoff. The trio became a prominent rap group over the past 15 years with multiple hits. In 2022, Takeoff, Offset’s cousin, was shot and killed in Houston at the age of 28.
“I get through my day thinking it’s fake, and I don’t say nothing to nobody about it,” Offset said of Takeoff’s death a year afterward.
The 34-year-old Offset went solo in 2019 with his debut, Father of 4, followed by Set It Off (2023), and Kiara (2025). Last year he also released the album Haunted by Fame, which features artists like YoungBoy Never Broke Again, NoCap, and Lil Dump.
Offset is the father of three of Cardi B’s four children: daughters Kulture (born in 2018) and Blossom (born in 2024), and son Wave (born in 2021). Cardi B filed for divorce in July 2024 after years of a tumultuous relationship.
