Dead Pioneers - Wagon BurnerDead Pioneers feat. Aimee Interrupter:  Never Alone

(Hassle Records)

Digital single

Out 21 April 2026

Dead Pioneers release third single and video ahead of the imminent album Wagon Burner.

4.5 out of 5.0 stars

Never Alone is a taster of what to expect from the third album by indigenous Denver punks Dead Pioneers. Collaborating with their friends The Interrupters gives the catchy singalong chorus on this latest number a different feel than Dead Pioneers’ usual fare but the verses have us back on familiar ground with the dulcet tones of Gregg Deal.  Never Alone is less hard hitting than the recent singles Nazi Teeth and No Kings but the message is no less important. The song is a love letter to the punk and hardcore music scene that has rescued so many people (young and old) from isolation when we discovered our “tribe”.  Something we’re sure many readers of Louder Than War will understand.

“A life-saving scene
A life-saving sound
This is the moment
We’ve found our sacred ground
Where each of us is bound”

A Plea From Louder Than War

Louder Than War is run by a small but dedicated independent team, and we rely on the small amount of money we generate to keep the site running smoothly. Any money we do get is not lining the pockets of oligarchs or mad-cap billionaires dictating what our journalists are allowed to think and write, or hungry shareholders. We know times are tough, and we want to continue bringing you news on the most interesting releases, the latest gigs and anything else that tickles our fancy. We are not driven by profit, just pure enthusiasm for a scene that each and every one of us is passionate about.

To us, music and culture are eveything, without them, our very souls shrivel and die. We do not charge artists for the exposure we give them and to many, what we do is absolutely vital. Subscribing to one of our paid tiers takes just a minute, and each sign-up makes a huge impact, helping to keep the flame of independent music burning! Please click the button below to help.
