“See you in the middle of nowhere” was the message emblazoned on Kacey Musgraves‘ Instagram account on Wednesday (April 29), as the Grammy winner revealed she will hit the road on her Middle of Nowhere Tour later this year.

The trek will launch Aug. 21 in Chicago, and will visit states including Colorado, Texas, Tennessee and North Carolina, and will wrap Oct. 27 at Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena.
The tour features openers Carter Faith, Midland, Flatland Cavalry, Charles Wesley Godwin, Gabriella Rose, William Beckmann, Estevie and The Brudi Brothers.
The trek takes its name from her new album, Middle of Nowhere, set to arrive on Friday (May 1). Musgraves has previewed the set with songs including “Dry Spell” and “Middle of Nowhere”; the album blends elements of country, pop, bluegrass, Zydeco and Norteño. The release also highlights collaborations with Willie Nelson, Miranda Lambert, Billy Strings and Gregory Alan Isakov.
