Long Long Road is his second top 10 on the Top Album Sales chart, which launched in 1991, following last year’s Look Up.

The new album also nets Starr a third top 40-charted set on Top Country Albums, following Look Up (No. 27 in 2025) and Beaucoup of Blues (No. 35 in 1970).

Starr’s new album marks his 22nd solo album and his second co-written and produced by T Bone Burnett, following last year’s Look Up. The new project boasts collaborations with Sheryl Crow, Sarah Jarosz, Billy Strings, Molly Tuttle and St. Vincent. Starr will hit the road with His All Starr Band for a dozen dates starting on May 28 in Temecula, Calif., and ending on June 14 at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.

Long Long Road is one of seven debuts and/or reentries in the top 10 on a busy Top Album Sales chart. On the latest tally, Noah Kahan’s The Great Divide debuts atop the list for his first leader, while Kehlani’s self-titled starts at No. 2 and Foo Fighters’ Your Favorite Toy debuts at No. 3. BTS’ former No. 1 ARIRANG falls 3-4, while Jason Aldean’s Songs About Us debuts at No. 5.

TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s 7TH YEAR: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns falls 1-6 in its second week, Michael Jackson’s Thriller zooms 48-7 following the release of the Michael biopic in movie theaters, the Michael soundtrack debuts at No. 8 and Noah Kahan’s Stick Season reenters at No. 10.
