Frozen Soul Shares New Music Video “Chaos Will Reign”; New Album “No Place Of Warmth” Out Today
Revered death metal / hardcore forerunners Frozen Soul have unleashed their highly anticipated album “”No Place Of Warmth” today via Century Media Records. Their monolithic, majestic and exigent collection of new anthems are built on the perfect blend of ferocity and subtle melody, allowing soaring guitar leads to guide a lantern through the dark chasm of merciless riffs. Across their third full-length studio album, Frozen Soul tells tales of the dark territories that come with dealing with the everyday struggle. It surveys the wasteland in the wake of their triumph and is an open letter to fans that decries life’s cold realities yet gives them the tools and the motivation to conquer on their own.
In addition, they’ve also dropped a new video for the focus track “Chaos Will Reign.” It gets straight to the point and is “about that moment when you’ve had enough and you’re not taking anymore sh*t from anyone,” frontman Chad Green enthuses.
He continues, “The video morphed into a prequel to the ‘Morbid Effigy’ music video by accident. Conceptually Brendan (Director), Zach (Actor), and I wanted to keep up the same theme of plot twisting the end of our videos like we did ‘Morbid’ – an ode to old school horror and Sci Fi thrillers that I’ve always loved! Zach randomly joked around about us playing in a snow globe. Sam had mentioned it a few years ago and we just hadn’t ever thought it was doable, but then it dawned on me! What if you didn’t know we were in the snow globe until the end. We then landed on London being in it as always, and I thought we could make it a prequel to start off our Frozen Soul cinematic universe. It worked out because I still had the axe and the meat-made snowman from the ‘Morbid’ video, so we dressed London up in the same outfit and made it to where the guy he was murdering (Zach) was the guy who London turned into the flesh-made snowman at the end of the Morbid video—boom, prequel!”
