Having previewed the global trek with a special one-off concert in Manchester back in March, Saturday night (May 16) saw the pop star kick off his global residency in Amsterdam’s Johan Cruijff Arena, treating fans to a series of hits from his latest album, ‘Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally’.
In a clip now circulating social media, the former One Direction singer can be seen adjusting his earpiece on stage when an audience member shouts, “Viva, Viva Palestina!”, to which he simply replies: “Correct.”
It marks a rare but brief political statement from Styles, although fans have since flooded the comments section of the clip to point out that one of the charity partners on the tour is Choose Love, whose partners direct funds to the humanitarian crisis in Palestine, providing medical aid, food, and life-saving treatment.

The crisis facing Palestinians has been bought into sharp focus this week, particularly following the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest, which came under fire for allowing Israel to participate amid ongoing settler violence, military incursions and displacement.
Several countries – Ireland, Netherlands, Slovenia, Iceland and Spain – boycotted the event in protest of Israel’s inclusion, and ahead of the contest, Amnesty International called for Israel to be suspended, criticising the EBU for not suspending the country like it did with Russia in 2022 due to the ongoing conflict with Ukraine.
Their Secretary General, Agnès Callamard, said it was “an act of cowardice and an illustration of blatant double standards when it comes to Israel”.
Elsewhere this week, Javier Bardem said a “major change” was coming with regards to Hollywood blacklisting condemn actors speaking up for Palestine, with his statement coming just months after Susan Sarandon said she had been blacklisted after calling for a ceasefire in Gaza in 2023.
As for Styles, he will be out on tour for the rest of this year, with his next Amsterdam gig set for Wednesday night (May 20). You can visit here for any remaining UK tickets, here to get international tickets, and find a full list of dates below.

When tickets went live for Styles’ upcoming UK dates, there were queues of up to 250,000 people for each of the shows, and it was later revealed that he had broken several records at both Wembley and Madison Square Garden thanks to huge demand.
The Wembley gigs will see the ‘As It Was’ singer donate £1 from every ticket sold to LIVE’s levy, helping to protect UK grassroots music venues and support emerging talent.
His recent album ‘Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally’, scored four stars in NME, which described it as “an album that you’ll really want to spend a lot of time with, letting all its layers envelope you”. It added: “It’s the most exploratory album of his career so far, trying out new things and steering his ship in new directions.”
