HorsegiirL has revealed that she took Billie Eilish to Berghain in 2025, saying the pop star “ended up staying until 7am”.
The masked German DJ, singer and producer (aka Stella Stallion) spoke about the time she crossed paths with Eilish when speaking to The Fader about her debut studio album, ‘Nature Is Healing’.
This followed Eilish’s arena show in Berlin last year as part of her ‘Hit Me Hard And Soft’ European tour. HorsegiirL took the ‘Birds Of A Feather’ artist and her team to the city’s legendary nightclub Berghain, where mobile phones and cameras are banned.
Eilish was given “a taste of the anonymity” that HorsegiirL maintains in her career during the visit, according to the outlet.
“I think she ended up staying until 7am, just dancing, you know?” she recalled. “Just having a cute time, because it’s a space where no one takes photos, and no one is bothering you.”

HorsegiirL continued: “It’s not like a VIP club, where it’s about being seen. And that was very beautiful to see and to witness. She probably hasn’t had lots of these experiences without waking up to lots of videos online.”
Elsewhere in The Fader‘s recent interview, the publication stated that HorsegiirL was the first DJ to play ‘Crazy Frog’ in Berghain’s Panorama Bar. “And I played Hampton the Hamster too,” she said. “These hoes had never heard that. That night, it really brought everyone together.”
As NME noted in its four-star review of ‘Nature Is Healing’, HorsegiirL – who is based in Berlin – has previously performed at “hallowed techno spaces like Berghain” after becoming “a festival staple”.
The review concluded: “There’s plenty of speculation about whether HorsegiirL is a major-label gimmick, but the DJ has openly spoken about her queer underground rave origins.
“That experience has undeniably informed HorsegiirL’s confidence barnstorming through a wide diversity of dance genres without getting lost. She might be known for horsing around, but ‘Nature Is Healing’ proves you shouldn’t take Stella Stallion for a foal.”
HorsegiirL is set to appear at numerous European festivals this summer, including Poland’s Open’er and Spain’s Bilbao BBK Live. In September, she’ll open for Robyn in Los Angeles as part of the Swedish star’s ‘Sexistential’ arena tour.
Her own ‘Nature Is Healing’ trek will feature a stop at the O2 Academy Brixton in London this December. Find any remaining tickets here.
During an interview with NME in 2024, HorsegiirL spoke about her ethos being connection. When asked what humans could learn from horses, she replied: “You are better together. We are herd animals. So are humans. To come back to that, ask yourself: ‘Is this more connecting or dividing?’”
