Avex Music Group announces a global publishing admin partnership with Bruno Mars, set to kick off following his current deal with BMG/Warner Chappell.
Bruno Mars has entered into a publishing agreement with Japan’s Avex Music Group (AMG), which will serve as the artist’s publishing administrator following the conclusion of his current deal with BMG/Warner Chappell.
“Bruno Mars is one of the most culturally impactful songwriters of his generation,” said Katsumi Kuroiwa, Avex Inc. CEO. “We are honored to partner with him and support his future works through this global publishing relationship.”

The 16-time Grammy-winner remains a force to be reckoned with in the industry, with 10 #1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 under his belt, including “I Just Might,” his recent single from his latest album, The Romantic. Last year, the smash duet “Die With a Smile” with Lady Gaga also made that list. Further, Mars was featured on Blackpink’s Rosé’s “APT,” which was one of the biggest songs worldwide last year.
The Romantic, Mars’ first album in a decade, following 2016’s 24K Magic. It debuted atop Billboard’s 200 albums chart and opened with 186,000 units sold. Now, he’s heading out on the road for his Romantic Tour, which kicks off in April and is anticipated to expand to become one of the biggest tours of the year.
