Djo has retained his spot at the summit of the Official Singles Chart for a second consecutive week on the chart dated Jan. 16.

“End of Beginning,” first released in 2022, benefited from the popularity of the final season of Stranger Things in which Joe Keery — who has released under the Djo moniker since 2019 — stars in as fan-favorite Steve Harrington.

The track hit No. 1 for the first time on the Jan. 9-dated chart and is his best achievement on the U.K. Singles Chart to date. “End of Beginning” first appeared on the 2022 LP Decide and peaked at No. 4.

But following the airing of the fifth season of Stranger Things, tracks related to and featured in the show soared up the U.K. charts. Fleetwood Mac (“Landslide”), Prince (“Purple Rain”) and The Police (“Every Breath You Take”) all saw massive week-on-week gains on the Jan. 9 chart. “End of Beginning” is currently No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200.

Dave and Tems’ “Raindance” jumps two spots to close at No. 2 and looks set to be a contender for the top spot in the coming weeks. The song appears on Dave’s chart-topping The Boy Who Played the Harp LP, and a new music video featuring the pair was released this week.

“The Fate of Ophelia” by Taylor Swift loses one spot and finishes at No. 3, though has already enjoyed a seven-week run at the summit since its release in October. RAYE!’s “Where Is My Husband!” is at No. 4, and Olivia Dean’s “So Easy (To Fall In Love With Me)” rounds out the top five at No. 5.

Bruno Mars’ “I Just Might” is the week’s highest new entry, debuting at No. 6, his 13th top 10 U.K. single. Earlier this week, he added 31 dates to his upcoming stadium tour following huge demand ahead of his comeback album The Romantic, due Feb. 27.

Sienna Spiro’s “Die on This Hill” is back in the top 10 (No. 10) for the first time since November, and follows her maiden entry on the Billboard Hot 100. The song is now up to No. 54 on the latter.

PinkPantheress’ “Stateside” is the week’s biggest climber, up 12 places to No. 23. The success follows a remix with Zara Larsson, who is also seeing gains with her track “Lush Life” which sits at No. 7.
