Out Now

The North West’s premier classic / psychedelic / blues rock band, Luna Marble, are coming at you Live From The Rock & Roll Circus.

The band’s latest offering, recorded at Manchester’s Academy 3, perfectly captures the raw energy, smouldering blues, sublime subtlety and unbridled excitement of the Luna Marble live experience, all delivered with a crystal clarity which allows you to close your eyes and be whisked back in time to the gig. Leaning heavily on tracks from the recently released self-titled debut studio album, which was launched on the night, we’re also treated to Maria’s ebullient banter, a gorgeous, folky rendition of early song, Awake, and a dreamy cover of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young’s Woodstock. Feeling both meticulous in its production and spontaneous in its delivery, this is a breathtaking testament to the talents of a band which is rapidly establishing itself as a force to be reckoned with on the circuit.

Whether you were lucky enough to enjoy this uplifting, celebratory gig in person and need the ultimate momento, or are new to the band and want to capture the atmosphere of the Luna Marble Rock & Roll Circus in all its glory, this is an album you won’t want to miss. A Plea From Louder Than War

Louder Than War is run by a small but dedicated independent team, and we rely on the small amount of money we generate to keep the site running smoothly. Any money we do get is not lining the pockets of oligarchs or mad-cap billionaires dictating what our journalists are allowed to think and write, or hungry shareholders. We know times are tough, and we want to continue bringing you news on the most interesting releases, the latest gigs and anything else that tickles our fancy. We are not driven by profit, just pure enthusiasm for a scene that each and every one of us is passionate about.

To us, music and culture are eveything, without them, our very souls shrivel and die. We do not charge artists for the exposure we give them and to many, what we do is absolutely vital. Subscribing to one of our paid tiers takes just a minute, and each sign-up makes a huge impact, helping to keep the flame of independent music burning! Please click the button below to help.
