Delisa Shannon: How many best new artist contenders are represented right now?
Trevor Anderson: Four in the top 10.
Delisa Shannon: That’s really impressive.
Tetris Kelly: This year’s best new artist category is stacked. From KATSEYE to Lola Young to The Marías. Addison Rae to sombr.
Delisa Shannon: I think a lot of people are just really excited about sombr and what he’s providing in music right now.
Tetris Kelly: Or will our chart champions Alex Warren, Olivia Dean or Leon Thomas take it home?
Xander Zellner: He’s done it all.
Trevor Anderson: Is there anything else he needs to do I mean.
Xander Zellner: He already hit all the milestones, right? Except the Grammy.
Tetris Kelly: Nominees for best album are just as incredible. How could you choose one? From Justin Bieber’s long awaited album Swag, to Lady Gaga’s MAYHEM. Or will Kendrick do it again with GNX? Could it be Tyler, The Creator’s Chromakopia? Or Sabrina Carpenter’s Man’s Best Friend? Possibly Mutt from Leon Thomas?
