Johnny Marr has announced his biggest-ever solo headline show, taking place in London this autumn. Find all the details below.

The singer-songwriter will take to the stage at the OVO Arena Wembley in the capital on Saturday October 24. He’ll be joined on the night by special guest Baxter Dury.

Tickets go on general sale at 10am BST next Friday (May 1) – you’ll be able to buy yours here. Alternatively, fans can access a pre-sale at the same time on Tuesday (April 28) by signing up here.

The new London date is set to follow Marr’s summer headline concerts at Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl and Dublin’s Iveagh Gardens. He’ll also make numerous stops across Europe this July.

Last month, the musician wrapped up his ‘California Calling’ North American tour, where fans were treated to a set of hits, classics and brand new and unreleased music. Marr then joined Pet Shop Boys on stage in London to perform some deep cuts and rarities in early April.

Last year saw Marr release a new live album, ‘Look Out Live!’. The project comprises 22 tracks recorded at the Eventim Apollo in London as part of his ‘Spirit Power’ live tour in 2024.

More recently, he contributed to Gorillaz‘ latest record ‘The Mountain’, and made an appearance with the band in London last September. Marr worked on the star-studded ‘Help(2)’ charity album for War Child, too.

His fourth and latest full-length solo LP, ‘Fever Dreams Pts 1–4’, arrived in 2022. He released a ‘best-of’ compilation the following year, featuring a new song called ‘Somewhere’.

In other news, Morrissey has corrected Johnny Marr about the history of The Smiths signing with Rough Trade.
