Saint Etienne have added extra dates to their upcoming UK farewell tour, including another show in London.
The London trio announced details of their last-ever UK tour back in November, telling fans that they would be bidding farewell to them in Autumn 2026.
At the shows, they will be playing tracks from their latest and final studio album, âInternationalâ, among other favourites from across their discography.
Dates were initially set to kick off on September 15 with an opening night at Manchesterâs New Century Hall, however, thanks to huge demand, the tour will now be commencing earlier in the month.
Three extra dates have been added to the upcoming run. These include a slot at St Peterâs Church in Poole on September 10 â the new date that the tour kicks off â and this is followed by a new show at Londonâs O2 Shepherdâs Bush Empire on September 11 and Birminghamâs Institute on September 12.
The new date in London adds to an already scheduled stop in the capital, set for The Roundhouse on September 18.
As previously confirmed, the tour will round off with shows in Sheffield, Glasgow, Brighton, and more throughout the month, before a final stop at the Corn Exchange in Cambridge on September 26.

âWeâre excited â but slightly teary â to bring you news of our final UK/Irish tour which takes place next September,â Saint Etienne wrote when first announcing the tour. âPlease donât be sad, we want these shows to be fun parties. Live sets where weâll select the âbest of the bestâ from our 35-year, 13-album catalogue.â
The band also hinted that there will be more farewell live dates in other territories, too, writing: âWill there be tours in Europe, America, Japan or Australia? Itâs too early to say right nowâŠâ
Before âThe Long Goodbyeâ gigs start, Saint Etienne will open for Belle & Sebastian at Dreamland Margate and Halifaxâs The Piece Hall this summer.

After announcing the final UK and Ireland tour, the band spoke to NME, and keyboardist Bob Stanley revealed that the band would still âkeep busy togetherâ for the foreseeable future.
âIt wonât feel like anything is finished, because there will be catalogue stuff to do, including at least a couple of fanclub albums,â he explained. âWe have another album that never got released, and that will come out at some point.â Check out the full interview here.
